Lisa Widdison

My Story

Lisa Widdison is a distinguished scholar with a deep ability in the history of philosophy and philosophical literature, covering topics such as art, nature, metaphysics, emotions, and theories of knowledge from both Eastern and Western perspectives. Since her undergraduate studies, she has been immersed in philosophy and literature, developing a particular focus on Comparative Environmental Philosophy.

Her notable work includes contributions to sustainability and biodiversity projects in Hawaii. Additionally, she has served as a Research Assistant in the School of Pacific Asian Studies and with the Eastern Philosophies of Consciousness Program at the University of Hawaii in Mānoa. Currently, she is a Visiting Professor at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, where she continues to advance her research and teaching in these areas.
