My Story

Dr. Samaa Taha Abdullah is a distinguished academic and researcher, recently appointed as an assistant professor at the College of Pharmacy, Amman Arab University in Jordan. She specializes in Pharmaceutical Innovation and Medical Genetics. Alongside her teaching responsibilities, she is a council member at the university's Creativity, Innovation & Entrepreneurship body.

 

Dr. Abdullah's academic journey includes a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Jordan (2014), a master’s in Pharmaceutics (2016), and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Innovation, Medical Genetics, and Immunology (2022). Her professional experience began as a volunteer research student at the University of Jordan, followed by roles as a Lecturer and Research Associate at the same institution. Later, she joined the Faculty of Pharmacy at King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia, first as a post-graduate researcher and lecturer (2019-2022), and subsequently as a post-doctoral researcher (2022-2023). Most recently, she worked as a Lecturer and Research Scientist at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (2023-2024).

 

Dr. Abdullah’s contributions to the field are significant, with 20 publications, 5 US patents, and participation in 4 international conferences, all related to Pharmaceutical Innovation and Medical Genetics.
